Soonest be made a constable in order to assist with the duties of the City's license control officer. He is employed as a full-time police patrolman by the City of Bangor Police Department, and has as tved in this capacity since June 20, 1966. He has attended basic and in-service police training schools. I also recommend that Louis Coffey be made a constable in order to assume lac enforcement duties in the Cape]m rt areae for the Bangor Housing Authority. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of master sergeant after twenty years service in military police and investigation work, and served for the past three years as chief criminal investigator for the Penobscot County Sheriffs Department. He attended military schools on criminal investigation, narcotics and drug abuse, and FBI schools on criminal investigation and fingerprinting, plus two Civil Defense schools. He also Bad a one-year course in psychology and a one-year course in criminology from the University of Maryland.
