between the City of Bangor, a municipal corporation located in Penobscot
County, State of Maine and Judson H. Grant, J-., of 57 Wiley Street, Bangor,
Maine.

That Judson M. Grant, Jr., does hereby ledge, demise, and let unto the City
of Bangor the following described premises:
Beginning a monument o the easterly right-of-way
fine of Broadway thesouthline of Property now
or formerly
owned by Judson M. Grant, Jr., as described by deed dated
May 16. 1967 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds,
Volume 2102, Page 176; thence east a_ong sate property line
for a distance of 3270 feet more :ass to the westerly Line

Hughes and Tomas T. Walsh, an described in a deed dated
July 14, 1965 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds,

Being the some premises described In a deed to Judson M. Grant,
Jr., from Harriett 1. Higgins and dated Recember 9, 1969 and
recorded in Penobscot Registry of fares, Volume 2174, Page 41.
2. A certain Lot or Parcel of land situate on the easterly side
of Broadway,socalled in Bangor, County of Penobscot, State
of Maine bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the
intersection of the northerly line of land new or formerly
owned by Harriett I. Higgins w/ the easterly side line of said
Broadway; thence N. 69°15' B. by and along the line of land of
said Higgins three thousand two hundred • enty-four (3274) feet
more or less to a cement movement in the westerly line of land,
now r formerly of the U.S. of America; thence northerly two
hundred ninety-one (291) feet to acement

Being the same premises described in a deed to Judson M. Grant,
Jr., iron David W. Potter and Madeline E. Potter dated May 16,
1967, and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Needs, Volume 2102,
Page 176.
TO HAVE AM TO MOLD for the term of four (4) months it= the sf,ltth day of
JanuGTy . A.D. 1970 ; yielding and paying therefore the rent of Two
hundred sixty-three and 90/100 (8263.90) dollars. The City of Banat covenants
to pay said rent in full in advance; and to quit and deliver up the promises to
Judson M. Grant, Jr., peaceably and Nietly and at the end of the tem aforesaid,
in good order and condition --reasonable wear and tear expected --as the same are,
or may be put into by said City of Bangor;andlast it will not assign or
underlet the premises, Or any part thereof, wlthaut the consent of Judean M.
Grant, Jr., in writing on the back aide of this lease. And Judson M. Grant. Jr.,
may enter to view and rake improvements and t0 expel the City of Bangor if it
she Ll fell to pay the rent aforesaid, whether said rent be demanded or not, or
If it shall make or suffer any strip or ante thereof, or shall fail or quit and
surrender the promises to Judson M.Grant, Jr., at the end of said tem, In the
manner aforesaid, or shall violate any of the coasesnte in this lease by the City
of Bangortgerfomed.
All taxes assessed on the said premises shall be Paid by Judson M.
. Groat. Jr

his hand and seal and the City of Bangor has caused this instrument to be signed
in its corporate name and its corporate seal to be affixed hereunto by
