In accord With your requirements, we hereby sutmmlt two (2) copies each
of forme "Application For Utility location Permit" and 'Utility Location
Permits.
Urban Renewal requires that our overhead facilities within the develop-
ment area most be installed underground. Therefors, we apply herewith for
permission to cwutruct new underground duct line fac111tiea along the
easterly side of Main Street from Freese's to Uuion Street.
The Application For Utility Location permit was publiahad in the
Bangor Daily News on Hemp 28, 1970.

APPLICATION MIP. UTILITY LOCATION PEEMIT
MUNICIPAL OFFICEES CITY OF RANCOR
MNCOR MM -ELECTRIC COLFANY, a Maine corporation having its principal
place of business at Header, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, being duly
authorized pursuant to the lava of the State of Maine to generate, sell,
distribute and supply electricity in the City of Bangor, County of Penobscot,
State of Maine, hereby applies for a permit to authorize it to locate, construct
and maintain certain of its facilities, hereinafter described, upon, along,
under, war and across certain public nays situate in the municipality herein-
before referred to
Any person, firm or corporation claiming to be adversely affected by
the proposed locations described herein, shall file a written objection with
municipal officers, City of Benner, stating the cause of said objection within
14 days after the date of this publication.
LOCATION:
Beginning at an existing vr3ergr 3 duct system
owned by the Bangor Hydro -Electric Company, located on the
easterly side of Main Street; thence proceeding southerly
from presse's approximately 235 feet aloxw Main Street to an

DESCRIPTION:
The facilities will cosist of an underground ductline, wires end/or
cables, together with associated and switching equipment. The
minimum depth to the top of the d'ictllne will be approximately 18 inches. The
ductline will be constructed within the limits of the public way, tut outside
the part thereof customarily used for travel of vehicles insofar as possible.
The initial operation of the facilities will he at 2400 volts three phase; the
voltage will be increased a occasion therefor requires for operation not in
excess of 20 %V. to grounds
