In conjunction with the general circus atmosphere of our city on May 7th, Silo and 9th while the Shrine Circus is at the Auditorium, the Viner Music Company requests permission to have anold-fashioned, ten -piece circus band give a - time, one hour concert in front of their store on Saturday, May 9th The band will not block pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk as I understand that an area occupying two to three parking meters can be roped off temporarily in front of the store for the one hour period. The band would play on the street in the area by the raped off parking meters. We would appreciate greatly any consideration you and the members of the City Council may give to this request to make possible this free downtown band concert. Sincerely, M= A}M ON, INC. Richard B.
