Will you please consider the following request in behalf
of our client, the Vines Music Company, 20 Broad Street,
Bangor.
In conjunction with the general circus atmosphere of our
city on May 7th, Silo and 9th while the Shrine Circus is at
the Auditorium, the Viner Music Company requests permission
to have anold-fashioned, ten -piece circus band give a -
time, one hour concert in front of their store on Saturday,
May 9th
The band will not block pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk
as I understand that an area occupying two to three parking
meters can be roped off temporarily in front of the store for
the one hour period. The band would play on the street in the
area by the raped off parking meters.
We would appreciate greatly any consideration you and the
members of the City Council may give to this request to make
possible this free downtown band concert.
Sincerely,
