And that the said City Engineer met at the time and place of meeting specified in the notice and proceeded to lay wt said Griffin Road as follows: Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line of union Street at the approximate center of the existing Griffin Road pavement, said point being at coordinates N 35949767, E 41815959, said co- ordinates being of the Maine Coordinate System, East Zone; thence South 350 43' 12" West for a distance of 3306.65 feet to the northeasterly edge of the Heavy Duty Apron. The right -o£ - way was laid out to a width of 80 feet, measuring 40 feet to either aide of the above-described center line. The above-described right-of-way is part of the former Dow Air Force Base property transferred to the City of Bangor under the National Airports Act as recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 2156, Page 449. No person or persons appeared at the time and place set for the hearing. Since the read has been constructed and used for any years at its present location, no damages are recommended for the above-described laying out. It is recommended that the above-described sight -of -way be added to the official map to be named and known as Griffin Road.
