Introduced and filed by ......"" c nci]m n SUM ALL NEN BY THESE PRESMS, That the CITY OP BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Penobscot County, State of Maine, in consideration of Due Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable considerations paid by JAMES W. WILLIAMS POST NO. 12, TEE AMERICAN LEGION, a corporation duly established and located In Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, the receipt whereof it does hereby acknowledge, does hereby remise, release, bargain, sell and convey and forever quit -claim unto the said JAMES W. WILLTAMS POST NO. 12, THE AMERICAN LEGION, its successors and assigns, forever, a certain lot or parcel of lend together with the building thereon, described as follows: Beginning at a point formed by the westerly right-of-way line of Union Street and the northerly right-of-way line of First Street; thence west along said northerly line of First Street for a distance of 164 feet m r less to the easterly line of Lot No. 2 as shown on a plan drawn by Zebulon Bradley, recorded in Penobscot Registry of Beads, Plan Book 2, Page 22; thence north along said easterly line of lot No. 2 foradis- tance of 100 feet more or less to the southerly line of int No. 23 as Shown on said plan; thence east along said southerly line of Let No. 23 for a dis- tance of 64 feet more or leas; thence South on a line Parallel to the westerly line of Union Street for a distance of 38 feet more or lees; Lbence east for a distance of 99.2 feet more or less to the westerly line of Union Street; thence South along said westerly line of Union Street for a distance of 63 feet more or less to the point of beginning. The above-described land includes Late No. 1 and 8 as shown n the above-mentioned Bradley Plan, as conveyed to the City of Bangor by School District Number One by deed dated July 28, 1838 and recorded In Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 103, Page 545. Previous References: Lot No. 1 conveyed to School District No. 1 by Trustees of Isaac Davenport by deed dated February 20, 1830, P. R. D., Volume 29, Page 522. Easterly half of Lot No. 8 conveyed to City of Bangor by John N. Bennett at al (see P. R. D., Vol. 694, Page 192). Westerly half of Lot No. 8 Isaac Davenport to School Dis- trict No. 1 by deed dated June 15, 1826, P. R. D.,. Volume 19, Paas 187. TO NAVE AND TO HGhO the same, together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to the said JANES W. WILIJANS POST NO. 12, THE AINNtIGAN LEGION, its successors and assigns forever. And it does revenant with the said Grantee, its successors and assigns , that it will warrant and forever defend the premises to the said Grantee, its successors and assigns forever, against the lawful chime and demands of all persons claiming by, through or under the CITY 0P BANGOR. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said CITY OF BONGOS has caused this inetru- sent to be signed in its corporate mase and its corporate seal to be affixed hereunto by JOHN G.
