THAT Sec. 4.2 of Chapter 11, article 20, of the town and ordinances be amended
to read as follows:
4.2 Appointment and Terms of Office. Of those first appointed to the Dental
Health AdviSoey Committee one dentist
and two lay persons shall be appointed to s til January 1, 19561
e dentist end One lay person to s until January 1, 1955; and one
dentist ard one lay pelson to s until January 1, 1954. a ereafter,
maribers of the committee shall be appointed actually to serve a term of
three years until ss duly appointed. Any vacancy on the
committee shall be filled abyrappointment of the City Council for the
remainder of the term. No person
appointed, on December 22, 1969 or
thereafter, shall s more than two (2) consecutive complete terms.
STATEMENT OF FACT
This amendment is to include in the taws and Ordinances of the City,
the intent of Council Order 44-X, unanimously passed at the meeting of
Dec. 22, 1969; "Ordered that no person appointed to an advisory committee
on Dec. 22, 1969, or thereafter, shall serve more than two (2) consecutive
complete terms."
