— That the zone boundary lines asestablished by the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Bangor on October 24, 1960, as amended, be hereby further amended as
follows:
To change from Residence C zone to General Business zone a parcel of land
located at 314 Bereaved Street, said parcel being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a paint on the southerly sideline of Nuanced Street, said point
Wing 83 feet, more or less easterly of the intersection of the southeasterly
sideline Fifth Street and the southerly sideline of Hemmed Street and also being
the northeasterly carver of property now or formerly owned by PhceM H. policy;
thence in an
easterly direction by and along the southerly sideline of
Hammed Street fora distance of 60 feet, more r less, to a point; said point
Wing the northwesterly corner of property now or foveeriy owned by Nancy G. Byrnes;
thence in a southerly direction by and along the westerly boundary of said
Byrnes property for a distance of 147 feet, more or less, to a point; said point
Ming the southwesterly corner of said Byrnes property;
thence in a southwesterly direction by and along the northeasterly boundaries
of properties now or formerly owned by Norris L. and Virginia E. Hillier and by
Frank J. and Pauline M. Stewart for a distance of 90 feet, more or less, to a point;
said point being the southeasterly corner of prope cry new or forms rly owned by
Phoebe H. Palley;
thence in ortherly direction by and along the easterly boundary of said
Kelley property for a distance of 209 feet, more or less, to the paint of beginning.
Being the same promises conveyed by John B. Patron and Mary K. Patten, trustees
of Catharine Water Patron, to William N. Mason by deed recorded in Volume 951, Page
184, Penobscot Registry of Beads.

BE: Request for Zone Change, City Council Order No. 142-Y
Gentlemen :
Please be advised that the Planning Board Meld a public Fearing on the
request for a zone change on April 5, 1971.
The Board gave careful consideration to the request for a change to
Cetaral Business, its affect on the area
and the Comprebeusive Plan, to
those opposed to the change, and to the aspects of historical preservation.
After consideration, the Planning Board voted unanimously to deny the
request for ozone change.
