Agrgcuitnral. to Residence "B" - Ohio Street and Griffin Road Beit ordained by tAe City Co;meil of the Cdfy o(Bangor, as fibUaam: That the zone boundary lines as established by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor on October 24, 1960, s amended, be hereby further amended by changing from Agricultural =ne to Residence "B" one certain parcels of land, excluding city rights-of-way, described as. follows: Beginning at a paint on the southeasterly side line of Griffin Road; IOOO feet, more r less, northeasterly of the intersection of said southeasterly side line of Griffin Road and the northeasterly side line of Union Street; said point being the northerly corner of land new r formerly owned by Theodore W. Betatron, and also being the northerly comer of an existing General Business none established by ordinance and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bangor an November 13, 1963; thence in a generally southeasterly direction by and along Me northeasterly boundary of said land now r formerly owned by Theodore O. Be[enson and the northeasterly boundary of said General Business zone for a distance of 640 feet, m r less, to a paint; said point being the Intersection of the northeasterly boundary of said General Business zone and the center line of a drainageway running in a generally northeasterly direction from Bangor International Airpor. to the Xenduakeag Stream; thence in a generally northeasterly direction along the center line of said drainageway for a distance of 1750 feet, m r less, to a point; said point being the intersection of the center line of said drainageway and the =southwesterly side line of Ohio Street; thence in an orthwesterly direction by and along the southwesterly side line of Ohio Street for adistance of 1250 feet, more r less, c- ssing Griffin Road, to a point' said point being the northeasterly comer of land n r formerly owed by the United States of America and also being on the southwes terly side line of Ohio Street, 750 feet, more r leas, northwesterly of the intersection of said southwesterly side line of Ohio Street and the nartbeesterly side line of Griffiv Road; thence in a southerly direction by and along the easterly boundary of said land new r formerly owned by the United States of America for a distance of 1235 feet,move or less, to e point; said point being the intersection of the easterly line of said land now or formerly owed by the United States of America and the nortbwe sterly side line of Griffin Road; Page Two thence in a southwesterly direction by and along the northwesterly side line of Griffin Road for a distance of 560 feet, more or less, to a point; said paint being 1000 feet northeasterly of the intersection of said northwesterly side line of Griffin Road and the northeasterly side line of Union Street; thence in southeasterly direction for a distance of 49.5 feet, crossing Griffin Road,to the point of beginning. Being the tests area designated as changed from an Agricultural zone to a Residence "0" n z a plan numbered "Plan d3" dated January ll, 1971, on file in the Office ofthe City Clerk of Bangor. Council Order No. 100-Y Agricultural to Residence "B", Council Order No. 101-Y Agricultural to General Business, Council Omer No. 102-Y Please be advised that the Planning Board Feld a public hearing January 10, 1971 on the proposed zoning changes. The Board gave careful consideration to the proposed Zoning changes, to the ideas expressed by those in attendance, to the possibility of alternatives and to the Comprehensive Pian of the area relative to future development.
