TO: The Honorable City Council
FROM: The Planning Board
HE Zone Change - Westland Avenue and Union Street
City Council Order No. 99-Y
Gentlemen:
Please M advised that the Planning Board held a public bearing
on March 1, 1971 on the proposed zone change.
The Planning Board gavec reful consideration to the proposal to
rezone the parcel from Park 6Institutional to Residence "A", with the
proposed development of a single family house. They considered the
location and its many problems any type of development would have at
that intersection.
The Planning Board voted unanimously to Incomes no against the
zone change.
In addition, the Board wished to express its feeling that the Last
use of that parcel was for "open spat .
