Comer of Union Street and Westland Avenue Be it ordained by Phi City Council of OF City of Bangor. as follawe: — That the zone boundary lines as established by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor on October 24, 1960 as amended, be hereby further amended as follows: To change frees Park and Institutional zone to Residence "A" zone a parcel of land at the northerly corner of the intersection of Union Street and Westland Avenue, said parcel being more particularly described as follows. Beginning at the peter of intersection of the southwesterly side line of Union Street and the northerly side line of Westland Avenue; thence in anorthwesterly direction by and along said southwesterly side line of Union Street for a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to a paint; said point being the easterly corner of city owned property known as Bangor International Airport; thence S 30 30' W (Magnetic) by and along the southeasterly boundary of said Bangor International Airport for a distance of 120.5 feet to a point; thence N 56° - 0l' W (Magnetic) by and along the northeasterly boundary of property v r formerly owned by the City of Bangor for a distance of 10 feet, more r lenso , to a point; said point being the intersection of thenortherly side line of Westland Avenue and the northeasterly boundary of said city -owned land; thence in a generally easterly direction by and along the northerly side line of Westland Avenue for a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. The Planning Board gavec reful consideration to the proposal to rezone the parcel from Park 6Institutional to Residence "A", with the proposed development of a single family house. They considered the location and its many problems any type of development would have at that intersection. The Planning Board voted unanimously to Incomes no against the zone change.
