1. The City Council should appoint a broad based cortmittee whose primary purpose shall be

a place on the outskirts of Bangor where private resources can be stimulated to pro-
vides ing facilities under private ownerehip.
2. Inc 'city planning Department and the City Recreation Department be charged with the
ity or developi.-g a long-range program o improvements to the Pari property with
aapnasis placed on year-round recreation facilities. Included should be such items as a
third mus - cipa-1 saamming pool, hockey facilities, park and picnic areas, a portable shell

Bangor Area citizens of all ages with outstanding recreational and athletic facilites.
