Orbirt IuiC Amending chapter 11, Article 19, Sections_2 and 3 of _.... the Ordinances of the City of Bangor 11 Be it otdnixcd by the City Coawaid of the City of Bangor, as fidews: — THAT Chapter 11, Article 19, Sections 2.1 and 2.2 be deleted and replaced with the fell wing: 2.1 Admit Persons to the City Hospital. To provide inpatient health cave for residents of Bangor, who because of chronic and long-term illnesses, require constant medical and nursing supervision. For purposes of this Ordinance, no person shall be corm idered to be a resident of Bangor who has not lived continuously within the City limits for at Least two (2) years immediately preceeding his application for admission to the City Hospital. TNAT Chapter AI, Article 19, Section 3.1 be deleted and replaced with the following: 3.1 Admissions t0 the City Hospital. The Administrator Of the City Hospital shall be responsible for all admissions to the City Hospital and shall coordinate with the Welfare Director in Obtaining governmental assistance for needy patients. 3.2371 Monthly Report to City Manager. The Administrator of the City Hospital shall make a report to the City Manager before the first Council meeting of each month, as to the business of his office during the preceeding month. 3.33,2 Other Duties, To perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the City Manager or any applicable state or local laws and ordinances. 222-Y IN CI'M COUNCIL June 14, 1971 Passed 1st and 2M readings, referred to Health Center Committee; also, referred to the committee was an amendment, consider next meeting.
