BB80LVED, WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal AuClority of the City of
Bangor, by Urban Renewal Plan dated February 6, 1968, approved b
said Authority on August 1, 1968 and by tie City Council of Bangor,
Maine on August 1, 1968, designated Parcel 3-5 as shown on Map 4,
Exhibit D as "private to be acquired"; and
WHEREAS, the property was further designated for total clearance
and redevelopment, and
WHEREAS, an ambiguity exists as to the permitted reuse of
said parcel; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Urban Renewal Authority
of the City of Bangor that the portion of said parcel 3-5 together
with the building thereon, not previously conveyed shall be
permitted to remain and be redeveloped to= business and residential
use,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
THAT, the amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Kenduskeag
Stream Project, Me. R-7 which was
approved. by the Urban Renewal
Authority of the City of Bangor on December 6, 1971, a copy of
which is annexed hereto and marked Exhibit A, is hereby approved
and the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to file said copy
of said modifications to the Urban Renews- Plan with the minutes
of this meeting.

EXHIBIT A
1. That portion of parcel 3-5, together with the building
thereon, as shown on Map 4, Exhibit O, not previously
conveyed to Bangor savings BaNc, is hereby designated
conservation property to be permitted to remain, and
business uses as set out in Section 111, B.L.a. shall be
permitted thereon.
Residential uses shall be permitted subject to the restrictions
of Section I1I, B.3.e.
Anything inconsistent with the foregoing is hereby deleted
from said elan insofar as it applies to the foregoing
property, and any plans and documents of record in the
Penobscot Registry of needs to be modified accordingly.
