Amendrnz zoning ordinance - Residential "A" to Residential "C" A.$arcel of land north of the intersection of Sunset Ave on the wet side of Union St. Be it urdaixed by the City CountsU of the City o(Banpoi, ue fb f we: That the zone boundary lines as established by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor on October 24, 1960, as amended, be hereby further amended as follows: To change from Residential "A" zone to Residential "C" zone a parcel of land north of the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Union Street more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Union Street; Thence northerly along the west rigbt-of-wary line of Union Street 127.3 feet to the southeast corner of that parcel described in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Hook 1657, Page 315; Thence westerly along the south line of said described property 660 feet to the southwest corner of said parcel, said point being 120.6 feet north of the north right-of-way, line of Sunset Avenue; Thence in a northerly direction along the west line of said parcel 198 feet to the northwest corner of said described parcel; Thence sisterly along the north line of said parcel 660 feet more or less to said lines intersection with the vest right -if -way line of Union Street; Thence southerly along said west right-of-way line 198 feet returning to the point of beginning. ovided, however, this amendment shall not becmne effective until the person or persona petitioning for the zone change described here -n shall poet with the City Clerk a performance bond equal to 25% of the estimated Cost of the development to be con- structed on said parcel, said bond shall become payable to the City of .Bangor in the int the petitioner fails to begin construction in a substantial manner accordance with the plan submitted to the City with said petition within one (1) year of the effect- ive date of said zone change. Me planning Heard Have careful consideration to tee request and to the proposed development, as yell as the general development of the areas and those in opposition to the change as yell.
