That the zone boundary lines as
established by the Zoning Ordinanceof the
City of Bangor on October 24, 1960, as amended, be hereby further amended as
follows:
To change fron Local Business and Residential "A" zones to General Business
zone a parcel of land north of the intersection of School Street extended and Broadway
more particularly described as follows.
Commencing at The intersection of the south right-of-way line extended of
School Street extended with the west right-of-way line of Broadway;
Thence N 140 19! 30" W along the west right-of-way line of Broadway I72 feet
more r less to a bolt lying in the west cigb Caf-way line of Broadway, said point
also being the point of beginning;
Thence continuing N 14° 19' 30" W 265.96 feet to a point;
Thence N 830 15' W 362 feet to a poiptj
Thence S 6. 45' W 333 feet to a point;
Thence S 83° 131 8 3]2.5) feet to a point;
Thence N 14° 19' 3G" W 91.14 feet to a point;
Thence S 83° 15' R 118 feet returning to the point of beginning.

Council within one year of the effective date

SUBJECT: Zone Change - Broadway - Council Order No. 2342
(Local Business to General Business)
Gentlemen
Please be advised that the Planning Board held a public bearing July
17, 1972 on the above order, a request to rezone a parcel of land from
Local Business to General Business on Broadway.
The Board gave very careful consideration to the request and to the
proposed use
and to the opposition t sucb change. The Board c sidered
as well the effect such use ould have on the area, particularly the
traffic problems and the relationship to permitted uses.
After serious consideration, the Planning Board voted (3-2) to
recommend approval of the zone change.
Please note that for clarity, the word "extended-' in line s n (7)
should be deleted, as followm
