Field surveys, pians and cost estimates have been completed, and the following report is submitted: The proposed sewer extension would consist of 975 feet of B" pipe, and 3 manholes at a total estimated cost of $12,695.00. The City would pay 25%. or $3,174.00, and the remaining $9,521.00 would be assessed against the properties that benefited as follows: NORTH SIDE Assessment Assessment Owner Frontage to be to be levied deferred Dr. Eugene E. Brown 329.5' $1,610.10 T. Cox 640.0' 3,127.40 SOUTH SIDE Durso Associates 548.9' 2,602.25 Diamond International 280.0' $1,368.25 Diamond International 1$0.0' 733.00 $1,368.25 $8,152.75 The properties owned by Brown and Cox each contain a small residential dwelling. Both owners indicated that they would not be in favor of the sewer installation if the assessments Here to be levied upon completion, but would not object provided that the assessments were deferred until such time as the property were developed and they require entry into the sewer. The property owned by Durso Associates is also presently un- developed, and Diamond International is presently developing only 280 feet of their total 430 feet frontage. To: The Municipal Officers -2- June 22, 1972 It is recommandecl that the sewer extension be constructed and that the assessment be levied or deferred as noted above.
