ORDERED:
THAT WHEREks, the Bangor City council timet annually appoint citizens to
serve v
n the several subordinate boards and advisory coan ittees of the City, as
provided by the City Charter and the Tans of Maine, and
WHEREAS, the City Council intends that the personnel of these boards aid
committees reflect a broad representation of the citizens of Bangor and a high
degree of interest, ability and dedication, and
WHEREnS, the City Council desires that the citizens of Bangor should be
aware of these annual appointments and, if interested, should beencouraged to
entail their Peace for Consideration by the Council, see, therefore, be it
CR➢ERED, that the Cmmunity Relations Comdttee, with the advice and
consent of the Chairman of the Council, arrange for the said vacancies to be
announced in local news media. And be it further
ORDERER, that the Community Relations C®mittee, shall, by letter from its
chairman, invite the members of the Citizens %Nisar, Committee to seek houses
of citizens who may be interested in serving on
one
of the said boards o
nattees, and to submit resulting applications t the City Clark. on or before
o
December 13, 1971. And, be it further
ORDERED, that the Ccmmunity Relations Committee sake auailable suitable
application forms, which shall be provided to each member of the City Council,
to the Office of the City Clerk, and to the Citizens Advisory Committee.
