me of my election to the Bangor City Council for a term of three
years commencing November 6th, and Sec.l, Art. 15, Chapter Vill
of the Laws and Ordinances of the City of Bangor, which states
that no member of the Board of Appeals Months) shall be a member
of the City Council while serving on that Board, I herewith
respectfully submit my resignation from the Board of Appeals (Zoning)
effective November 5th, 1972, or on any earlier date should It be
