Re. Discontinuance of Evans Street
Dear Johni
This letter is to notify you that Lloyd O. Coffin,
782 Broadway, Bangor. Maine, has purchased the triangular
piece of land bounded on the east by Hillside Avenue,
on the north by Liberty Street* and on the west by Evans
Street, consisting of lots # 64 through #74 according to
a plan duly recorded in Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds. Plan Book 9, Page 7. from Mr. Howard D. Burr.
Lloyd 0. Coffin seeks to have Evans Street dis-
continued from Liberty Street south to School Street.
It is my understanding that this is the necessary
sary pro-
cedure now that Lloyd O. Coffin has acquired the land
referred to in this letter.
Lloyd O. Coffin owns some land on the Westerly side
of Evans Street And his mother. Clara Coffin. owns Some
land On the westerly side Of Evans Street to a point
approximating Liberty Street. I believe that you Should
check the same and then call me if you learn of anything
different than what I have told you.
Will you kindly present this matter to the City
Council for the City of Bangor at its next regular meeting
if all is in order.
Very truly yours.
Albeit H. Winchell, Jr.
