An employee of this class may also perform duties that require skill in mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and electrician crafts as associated wlta building maintenance and repair. Instructions are received orally and written as on blueprints, wiring diagrams, and instruction manuals. Considerable independent judgement and action is required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE$ SKILLS AnT ABILITIES Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in one electrical and instrument repair crafts. Working knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in the mechanical, plumbing, and mspentry crafts. Skill in the use of Instruments, tools, and equipment necessary to perform various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. Ability to work from blueprints and manuals and prepare rough pencil sketches and material lists of equipment to be purchased or repaired. Ability to inspect a wide variety of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to determine defects and needed repairs. DESIRABLE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Graduation from a standard high school. Considerable experience in the electricsI craft. Experience in building maintenance. Experience in electro -mechanical instrument repair or solid- state circuit repair.
