Note: In 1969 a Comprehensive Plan was prepared by the Planning Board and adapted by the City ad a long range plan for Raiding urban improvement, growth and development in the commodity. Bangor's Comprehensive Plan now in official use was approved and adopted by the Plannit:g Hoard in 1970 after its preparation and appropriate public hearings. The Sc and feels that the Comprehensive Plan lisrent, and minor iatione have been made and other will became, these n be updated by amending the land use plan periocieally. The Plan, being a general guide for the City, and the desired goals have not changed. Therefore, the Planning Hoard reeammends that the City Council approve and adopt our present Comprehensive Plan as being consistent with both the general long range planning of the City and with the applicable State Statutes as well.
