At the request of a registered voter, I necessary w asked to prepare the
petition to the City Council £or the submtssion to the people
Ofthe question "Shall an Ordinance providing that all proceedings of
the City of Hangar, with limited exceptions, be open to the public at
all times, and that all deliberations be conducted openly, be adopted?'
The forms were prepared and ten registered voters Of the City originated
the petitiononJuly 27, 1973 at the office of the City Clerk.
The last day for station the petition was September 10, 1973. At the
end of that day 576 persona had signed, and of that number it is hereby
certified that 544 were valid signatures.
