And that the mid City Engineer met at the time and place of meeting specified in the notices and prosecuted to lay out said. Longrale. Park as; Sollows> ....... ... __.___ Beginning at a point on the westerly right-of-way line of Union Street, said point being 686.6 feet more or less north from the northerly right-of-way line of interstate Highway 1-95, and 25 f et south from the southerly line of land owned by Jeanine Stewart, as recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, volume 2020, Page 353, and said paint being on the center line of the proposed new road; thence in a westerly direction at right angles to the westerly If g ht -of -way line of Union Street for a distance of 479.75 feet to a point; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 50 feet and a deflection angle of 90- for a distance of 78.54 feet to a point; thence continuing along a tangent to the last described point i an easterly direction, parallel with Union Street, for a distance of 150.35 feet. The above-described right-of-way is laid out to a width of 50 feet, measuring 25 feet at right angles to either side of the above - de scribed line. in addition, a 100 foot diameter cul-de-sac is laid out at the end, the center of which is tosated 25 feet west, measuring at right angles, from the last described point. The land occupied by said right-of-way is part of land owned by Michael A.Longo, Judson M. Grant, Jr. and Donald c. Lewis, Jr., as recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 2256, Page 185. And the City Engineer proceeded to lay out a center line grade for said road as follows: Beginning at the westerly right-of-way line of Union Street at elevation 179.08; thence ascending on a grade of 1.56% for 'a distance of 150 feet to elevation 181.42; thence continuing to ascend along a 100 foot vertical curve having an external of 0.05 feet to elevation 183.22; thence continuing to ascend for a distance of 50 feet to elevation 184.25; thence continuing to ascend along a 100 foot vertical curve having an external of 0.10 feet to eleva- tion 185.82; thence continuing to ascend along a 100 foot vertical curve having an external of 0.71 feet to eleva=ion 186.30; thence descending along a grade of minus 1.22% for a distance of 208.64 feet to elevation 1B3.76. There appeared at the time and place set for the meeting Mr. Judson M. Grant, Jr., one of the owners of the surrounding property, who spoke in favor of the project. The roadway is being constructed by the City of Bangor under previous agreements with the property owners, as authorized by City Council Order No. 236-Y passed June 28, 1971 and Council Order 295-Z passed September 25,1972. No damages are recommended for the above-described laying out, and it is recommended that the street be accepted as a public way, to be named and known as Longrale Park. A plan showing the proposed right-of-way, entitled "Plan and profile, Longrale Park", dated February 9, 1971, Plan No. C-47, Sheets 1-5 of 5 is on file in the office of the City Engineer.
