CITY OF BANGOR
(TITLE.) Advance Sewerage Treatment
By the City Council of the City ofBanyor.
B WLV&D, that the Bangor City Council agrees to proceed with the execu-
tion of a contract for final design of an advanced treatment facility upon receipt
of the results of the Infiltration/Inflow Analysis and Survey, subject to the follow-
ing conditions:
(1) that Federal and State funds are available,
(2) that Federal requirements have not changed so as to require
a lesser form of treatment,
(3) that the upgrading of the City's waste treatment plant is on
the State's one- or two-year list of projects entitled to
priority for the purposes of receiving Federal financial
assistance.
Be A further RESOLVED that at such time as said treatment facility is placed on
the State's one- or two-year priority list for upgrading, the City will immediately
proceed to execute the necessary engineering contracts and it will use its best
efforts to insure that such facilities are designed and completed asexpeditiously
as possible.
