ORDRRRD,
THAT WHEREAS the State Highway Commission, as a part of the
construction of the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge in 1954 constructed
a street extending between May Street and Union Street, on the
west side of the City -owned parking lot, designated on the Highway
Coumaission plans as "Ramp A", and
WHEREAS said street serves as a connector between May Street
and Union Street as well as an approach to the Joshua Chamberlain
Bridge, and
WHEREAS the street has never been assigned a name, which has
resulted in occasional confusion, now therefore, he it
ORDERED, that said street be named and known as Callagher's
Place, and be so designed on the Offical City Map.
