DEFIINITION
This in responsible clerical and semi -skilled work in the operation of aviation
fuel storage and distribution facilities at the Danger International Airport.
An employee in this class is responsible for the reception and proper storage
of a variety of aircraft fuels. Work also involves maintenance of fuel distribution
equipment including pumps, valves, filters, lines, and truckst as well as inspecting
and testing incmdng fuels. Direct supervision is provided by the Ground Support
Supervisor.

Supervises off—loading of incoming feels; directs each fuel to proper storage
area; runs prescribed tests for water and temperature.
Conducts daily inventory of fuels on hand; canducts routine pressure and leak
tests on pmphouse equipment; periodically tests emergency generator.
Performs routine and emergency maintenance on feel distribution equipment
and machinery.
Assists in servicing aircraft when circumstances require.

This is skilled journeyman level work in the maintenance and repair of ground
support equipment at the airport.
Work involves responsibility for the performance of ekilled tasks in the main-
tenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment including trucks, tugs, fuel tanwers,
hydrant carts, air start compressors, truck mounted stair units, and other equipment
used in servicing and handling passenger acus cargo aircraft. Werk is performed under
the supervision of the Grown Support Foremen, who inspects work in progress and upon

DHYNITION
This is manual, semi -skilled; and limited skilled work performed in the servicing
of commercial aircraft at the Bangor International Airport.
An employee in this class services or participates in the servicing of large
commercial aircraft including fueling, eleanine, baggage and cargo removal and stor-
age, emptying of trash bine and lavatories, and related work. Work often involves
using motorised equipment such as fuel trucks hose carts: baggage conveyors, air
starts, and mobile stairs. An employee may, in times of peak load, be aasigned as
lead man of a crew working an an aircraft. Immediate supervision is provided by
a Commercial Aviation Foreman for the assigned shift, and work is reviewed by ob-
servation of results.

Bmrvor International Airport.
An employee in this class is responsible for supervising and participating In
work on the light duty ramp. Duties include meeting the needs of pilots and the
flying public, preparing mid maintaining records for a moderately large volume of
gasoline and oil sales, making collections and accounting for both cash and credit
card sales. Work also involves responsibility for enforcing safety standards on the
ramp. Supervision is exercised over a small group of General Aviation Ramp Attendants.

This is skilled and specialized work in the training of student airplane pilots.
Eaployess in this class take students through a complete program of instruction,
both in flight and on the ground, preparing them for qualification as licensed pilots.
