ORDERED,
THAT the City Manager be authorized to enter into a purchase agreement
for 700 parking meters, said purchase to be paid for from parking meter
revenues.
Statement of Fact: It is necessary to reequip a number of our parking lots
and to provide new meters for additional lots as well as
approximately 100 on -street meters. It is anticipated that the cost will be
approximately $30, 000 and that this can be amortized over a period of time
at low interest from parking meter rentals.
