In accordance with Title 30, Section 2156CCMaine geviaed Statutes Annotated of 1964, as amended, 'The BONA Basic Building Cade/1970", Fifth Edition, including the 'ROLA Basic Building Code Accumulative Supplement, 1973" published b9 the Building Officials S Cade Administrators Interactions L, Inc., is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference, as the mintm,m standards for the construction, alteration, addition, repair, removal, demolition, location, occupancy, and maintenance of all buildings and structures and their service equipment, both existing and proposed, located within the City of Bangor Said Building Code is adopted in full by the City of Bangor, except as provided in the following sections. Sec. 2 Section 114.2 1s deleted and replaced with the following: 114.2 Explration of fermi,. Sec. 3 Section 118.2 is deleted and replaced with the following: 118.2 New Construction and Alterations: The fee for a building permit shall be based on the following schedule of fees: SCHEDULE OF PEES Used on Cost of Work Op to $500 . . . . . . . . . . $ 3.00 $501 to $5,000 . . . . . . . . 5.00 $5,001 to $500,000 . . . . . . LOS per thousand $500,001 to $1,000,000 . . . . . . . 500.00 plus 500 per thousand t 500,000 $1,000,001 and over . . . . . . . . 750.00 plus 250 per thousand mer 1,000,000 Belated Permits for Above $5,000 or under . . . . . . . . n additional $3.00 $5,001 and mer . . . . . . . . . . an additional $5.00 Amendments minimum 3.00 (If extra Coat is involved, figure coat of Amendment from original permit) Foundational (Advance Permits) If same contractor 5.00 Other than same contractor, fee is based on coat of work as above Removal of Stop Order . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10.00 Swimming Pools Fetaaneat - Rased on cast of work as above Portable swimming pools with aide height of 30" plus, o 1,200 gallon capacity and over . . . . . . . . . . 2.00 Sec. 4 Section 118.3 is deleted and replaced with the following: 118.3 Moving of Buildings: The fee for a building permit for the removal of a building or structure from one lot to another or to a new location on the same lot shall be $10.00. Sec. 5 Section 118.4 is deleted and replaced with the following: 118.4 Demslltian: The fee for a permit for the demolition of a dwelling or structure shaLL be $10.00, plus $5.00 for each story met three stories. In addition, a belated fee of $10.00 will be charged where demolition has been cs®enced prior to issuance of a demolition permit. The fee for a permit for the demolition of a small structure, such as a garage or shed, with no sewer connections, shall he $5.00. Sec. 6 Section 122.3 is deleted and replaced with the following 122.3 Violation pevalCfea: Any person who shall violate e provision of the Bae is Cade or shall fati to cemply with any of the requirements thereof orwho shall erect, construct, alter a repair a building o structure in violation of an approved plan or directive of the building official, or of a permit o certificate issued under the provisions of the Basic Code shalbe guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not leas than $10.0 n e than $100.00 for each such violation.
