Beginning at an existing manhole in the approximate center of Grandview
Avenue, being the northerly terminus of the existing Arctic Brook Sewer,
said manhole being me,, a projection of the easterly line of Prentiss
Woods; theme in a northeasterly direction, at an angle of 73°-15'-00",
measured from the easterly projection of the Grandview Avenue centeriine,
for a distance of 110 feet, being on property owned by Susan R. Paul as
acquired by deed dated August 18, 1967 and recorded in Penobscot Registry
of Deeds, Volume 2112, Page 215; thence deflecting 230-36'-00" to the east
for a distance of 340,80 feet to.a point; thence deflecting 150-19'-00" to
the north an land owned by CPR Associates, Inc. acquired by deed dated
April 2, 1968 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 2127,

represents the centerline of the proposed sewer location, also being the
center of a 20 foot wide sewer easement to permit the future maintenance
of the sewer.
There appeared at the time and place for the meeting Nr. David Rapaport
and Wr. Walter S. Green, both representing the owners of the property.
The City Engineer discussed in detail the proposed location of the sewer,
and demonstrated that it would serve all of the land in question. it was
agreed that the sewer location would not impede future plans that the
owners might have for developing the property. The City Engineer advised
those present that no payment of damages would be recommended to the property
wners. for the sewer easement, but that free entry into the sewer, free
of any assessments, would be permitted. Both mr. Rapaport and nor. Green
spoke in favor of the proposed installation.
It is recommended that the sewer easements be established as described
above. A plan showing the sewer location, City of Bangor Plan No. S-805,
entitled "Arctic Brook Sanitary Sewer Extension", dated September, 1973,
is on file in the office of she City Engineer.
