to proposed Charter Amendment - Financial Provisions
BY the City CouwiL of this City of Bangor:
ORDERED,
THAT the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed, in accordance
with 30 MRSA 91915, to provide all necessary and required voter infatuation
relative to the proposed Chatter Amendment referred to the voters by virtue
of Council Order No. 291 for consideration at a special election in be held
on November 5, 1974.
STATEMENT of FACT: At a special meeting held on October 3, 1974, the City
Council took action to place on the ballot for the November 5, 1974 election
a proposed amendment to the Bangor City Charter. The ame,Wment, if adopted,
will provide for certain changes in the City's financial organization and
borrowing capabilities. The purpose of this Order is to comply with the
statutory requirement found in 30 MRSA 91915 (3) (A) which provides for the
distribution of voter information on the proposal.
