Bb 10 D. WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1974, death brought
to a close the active life of Madeleine B. Quigley; and
WMEsMAS, Madeleine B. Quigley has, through her foresight and zeal for
this community, earned the affection of the people in the City of
.Bangor. Maine; and
WHEREAS, the stature she attained in this c unity by her untiring
af£orta:aid dedication to the successful operation of the Bangor
Municipal Auditorium; -
BE IT THERIMPIRE RESOLVED, that the Mayo[ and City Council of the City
Of Bangui., Maine, does, by this resolution and public record, recognize
the profound influence of Madeleine B. Quigley upon the developnent of
Bangor, yaine, recognising further that her death is a distinct loss to
the City_in which she worked and won deep respect and affection.
BE IT FMRTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be spread upon the minutes
of the Council and a copy thereof be sent to her daughter, Mrs. Scott
Bunke[, and' son Harold Quigley, in recognition of Mrs. Quigley's respected
place in this Community.
