-THAT Chapter VII, Article 9, Sections 1 and 2 of the Ordinances of the
City of. Sanger be amended as follows:
Sec. 1 Adopting National Electrical Code. In accordance with
Title 30, Seetion u56,
Maine Revised Statutes Annotated of 19", a emended. the
"National Electrical Code 1995" 1995 edition, designated
as N.F.P.A. No. 90.1995, and prepared by the National Fire
Protection Association, is hereby adopted and incorporated
by reference, as the miumim etanderds for electrical
installations #w within the boundaries of the. City of Bangor.

The application for an electrical permit shall be submitted in
such form as the Code Enforeament Officer may prescribe, end

Be it further ordained by the City Council of the City of Berger,
THAT presently existing Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are W remain in full
force and effect, but are to be redesignated as Sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7
respectively.
STATEMENT OF FACT: The purpose of this amendment is to cleriry the requirement
that an electrical perwit is required for all Installations, alterations or
seditious to electrical equipment as defined herein] and W clarify the permit
application procedure. In addition, this amendment adds to the ordinance a
provision invalidating permits for authorized work not commenced within 6 scribe,
or where work is ecmmenced and then suspended or abandoned for over 6 months.
Be it further ordained by the City Council of the City of Bangor,

City of Sanger be amended as follows: -
