-CITY OF BANGOR
(TITLE.) PQgol[1py -nathorieing Temporary operation of Taxicabs by
Mrs. R. L. slake, d/b/a FolowDuut Taxi Company
WTERRAS, the previous operator of Fairmount Taxi is no longer operating a
taxicab service within the City of Befit; and
WHEREAS, a question has arisen as to the present statusof taxicab
certificates of conveniencemand Cessity issued to said Fairmount Taxi
in May, 1975; and
NEERRAS, We. R. L. Blake, successor in interest to all assets and rights
of said Fairmount Taxi, has filed with the City Clerk applications for the
issuance of eleven (11) newcertificates of convenience and necessity in -
her and doing busing as Fairmount Taxi Company; saiapplications
to be in order for coneiderationby the City Council on September 22, 1975; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Blake wishes to maintain a continuity of operation pending
final approval of said applications by the City Council,
NOW, THBRSFOO, By the City Council of the City of Bangor -
RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is hereby authorised and directed to Issue, o
a temporary basis, a license to Ms. R. LI Blass, d/b/a Fairmount Taxi Company,
for purposes of permitting the operation of eleven '(ll) taxicabs on the streets
of the City of Bangor for a period expiring at 12:00 noon, September 23, 1975.
