Article ZS is hereby amended by adding a new Section 4, as follows - Sec. 4 Employee pualifiva[iosm. The requirements of this section shall not apply to those persons hired or appointed to such positions of employment in the Motor POOL Department prior to January 1, 1976, and who, on that date, maintain a permanent domicile beyond said lineal distance. The requirements of this ordinance shall be in addition to all other qualifications for empLoy- nt by the Motor pool Department as my be imposed by statute, ordinance o regulation of any duly constituted gernmental authority. ov he it further ordained by the City Council of the City of Bangor, THAT Chapter II, Article 35, is hereby amended by adding new Section 6, as follows: Sec. 6 Employee Qualifications. Effective January 1, 1976, n person shall be qualified for hire or appointment to positions of employment except for Clerk Mists. The requirements of this section shall not apply to those persons hired or appointed to such positions of employment in the Airport Department prior to January 1, 1976, and who, on that date, maintain a permanent domicile beyond said lineal distance. The requirements of this hindrance Shall be in addition to all other qualifications for employment by the Airport Department as may be imposed by statute, ordinance or regulation of any duly constituted governmental authority. Be in further ordained by the City Council of the City of Bangor, THAT Chapter 11, Article 36 is hereby amended by deleting the existing Section 6 and replacing it with the following: 'Sec. 6 E®lAyee Qualifications. The period for establishing a domicile hereunder may be extended for an additional period no exceeding six (6) months by the department headwithapproval of the City Manager." (2) That the proposed amendment to Article 35, Chapter II be amended on the 7th line in the same fashion as proposed above.
