THAT .the attached Petition from residents on Howard
Street, requesting that the existing sidewalk on the West
side ofHoward.Street be extended from its present terminus
near Angela Street to Mount Hope Avenue, and along the South
side of Mount Hope Avenue to the existing parking area behind
Garland Street Field be and hereby is accepted, and be it
further
ORDERED, that the construction of Said s deWja lys �d
to the 1975. Sidewalk List, to be constructed as soon a
possible.

Gentlemen:
the undereigned, would like to see a sidewalk On Howard St.
extended for our children's safety and all walkers who use thiis
busy street going to the medical building end the Stillwater park.
Once school is opened on Sept. 3, it I.n a definite hazard to the
safety of the children as the bursas (four of them) use this street.
In the winter it is extremely dangerous walking for re Able and
esnocially small children with the high snowbanks . The rorner of
Hcwerd end Mt. Have Avenue has seen qui+e a few accidents with
the obstructed view of high grass and extending the sidewalk along
Mt. 701e Ave. to the parking lot on Garland St, field is also needed
for tho safety of our children and citizens.

now before school opens end the heavy school traffic begins,
