the attached proposal from Eaton W. Tarbell and Associates, Inc.
for architectural services in relation to the design of the.
Pedestrian Walkway to be constructed over Kenduskeag Plaza as pact
of the Kenduskeag Stream Urban Aenewal_.Pxoject.
FINDINGS OF FACT: Metcalf & Eddy, Inc. of Boston have been
previously authorized to do the structural design of the Walkway,
since they are familiar with the structural aspects of Kenduskeag
Plaza, which they designed approximately 15 years ago. Since
Eaton W. Tarbell and Associates have had an active part in the
downtown redevelopment, it is felt that they can provide the
best architectural treatment so that the Walkway will be compatible
with adjacent buildings.
