Beginning at a point on the northerly right -o£ -way line of Hancock
Street located 193 feet more or less east from the easterly right-
of-way line of Exchange Street, said point being on the existing
westerly right-of-way line of said French Street; thence i
northerly direction along Said westerly right-of-way line of French
Street for a distance of 301 feet more or less to the southerly
eight -of -way line of York Street, at a point located 194 feet more
or less east from the easterly right-of-way line of Exchange.
Street; thence east along the southerly right-of-way line of York
Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence south on a line parallel
to and 40 feet east from the first -described line for a distance
of 300 feet more or less to the northerly right-of-way line of
Hancock Street; thence west on the northerly right -or -way line of
Hancock Street for a distance of 40 feet to the point of beginning.
No person or persons appeared at the time and place set for the
meeting. Since the Retduskeag Stream Urban Renewal Plan calls
for the indorporation of said right-of-way into a redevelopment
parcel for all of the land bordered by Hancock Street, Exchange
Street, York Street and Oak Street, and since the street in no
longer required for street purpOSeS, it is recommended that it be
discontinued and abandoned, and that it be removed from the
Official City Map.
