ORDERED,
TEAT the attached petition from Twitchell, Gray A Linscott,
attorneys representing the Estate of William M. Chandler, re-
questing the discontinuance of Ford Street and Pershing Street
between Westland Avenue and Dunning Boulevard be and hereby is
accepted and be it further
ORDERED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the
Municipal Officers according to law be and hereby is directed
to discontinue, abandon and vacate said right-of-ways, and be it
further
ORDERED, that the City Engineer proceed to give notice of said
intention of said Municipal Officers according to law by posting
such notices for seven (7) days in two Public places in the
City of Bangor and the vicinity of the proposed discontinuance,
and the City Engineer is further
ORDERED to make a written return of said proceedings containing
the bounds and admeasurements of the right -o£ -ways to be dia-
continued, together with the damages allowed to the Person o
persona resulting from the discontinuance, all in accordance
with the Laws of the State of Maine.

Estate of William M. Chandler
Westland Park Subdivision
Dear Mr. Frawley:
Pursuant to my conversation with you, the Adminis-
trator of the Estate of William M. Chandler is requesting
that the City discontinue or abandon its interest in and
to Ford Street and Pershing Street as set forth on the
Westland Park Subdivision and that these streets be re-
moved from the official map of the City of Bangor.
This letter should be considered as a petition by
the abutting land owner that Ford Street and Pershing
Street be either discontinued or abandoned.
