Poor veterans honorably discharged from the service may be buried at municipal expense with reimbursement by the State. However, the coat of burials for veterans Is not to exceed $360$500 and must be in a cemetery not used exclusively for the burial of the poor. If a deceased person had social security, that payment will be three :K,imes the monthly benefit. If the person bad both social security and Did Age Assistance from the State, the combined lump sum payment should cover burial expenses. If neither relatives nor Other private persons, the State or Other sources will cover the Mire burial expenses, the City will pay up to $369 $500 for burial, with an additional payment for a lot in the Lease expensive action of one of our local cemeteries. The Public Welfare Director will make all necessary funeral and but tel arrangements.
