Preservation Cwvnission's Proposal to Initiate a City Survey By she Cies Cawnai/dNe pgorBanyrr MWLVED, HHEH t the City Council Commadty Relations Committee has recommended to the City Council that a survey be undertaken of all existing buildings and lammarks Mich may be of historical importance or interest: amd that there be established a register of historic buildings and laWmarks for the City; awl NHeE q the Maine Historic Preservation Commission is prepared to satiate a survey Mich will define those areas and/or neighborhoods in the City which have special historic M architectural significance as oell as those structures outside of districts which are of sigSricancel NCUJHEI@F M, be it RESOIUEO by the City Comecil of the City of Bangor that the City Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of. the City Council to prepare and submit to the Mattie Historic Preservation Commission a letter endorsing the Cmmdssion•s proposed survey and indicating the City's desire to assist and cooperate. STATE!ffiPf OF FACT: The Mattie Historic Preservation Cocmission is prepared to initiate the survey on July 28th adcomplete the survey on or shout October lets 1975 at no cost to the City of Bangor. The City staff will assist the Commission in the farm of consultation end mapping.
