Parcel 13-10, located at 184 Hancock Street, Bangor, Elaine and described as
follows:
A certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in said Bangor,
bo'mded as fellows, to wit: Beginning at an iron bolt in the northerly side of
Hancock Street and the westerly side of St. Michael's Court so called; thanes
northerly on the westerly side of said Court sixty-three (63) feet to an iron bolt
at the southeast corner of lot conveyed W Win ifead Manahan by deed recorded do
Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Book 629, Page 500{ thence westerly on said Mendhem's
Southerly line forty-eight and eighty-one hundredths (48 81/100) feet W an iron
bolt at the southwest career of Bald Menihea's lot and on the rear line of Essex
Street lot No. 2, according W plan of Tristram Coffin 3rd, dated Sept. 14, 1825.

named; thenee easterly on said dividing line seven and thirty-three hundredths

Be it further Resolved by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, in
accordance with independent appraisal of value of the above described property,
the amount of damages determined to be fust compensation for the acquisition Of
the fee simple interest in the above described property is $51100.00.
STATEMENT OF FACT: 9 1mV5A Section 4854 authorizes municipalities to acquire by
Eminent Detain, property in designated slum or blighted areas. In order to exer-
niee this power, the City Council must first adopt a "Resolution of Condemnation"
't0 be served upon the property owner(s). After service is completed, the
Resolution is resubmitted to the City Council for its approval or disapproval.
If the Resolution is approved, the City Council shall cause an action to be
commenced in the Superior Court.
