TBAT, WH8REA5, the United States of America, acting by and through the Administrator of Several Services, by deed "red December 18, 1968, and recorded in the Penobscot. Registry of needs, Bangor, Maine, conveyed to the City of Bangor aertain parcel of .land which is now a part of Bangor International Airport, Bangor` Maine; and WHEREAS, said deed contains certain National Smergemy Restrictions which provide that dosing any national emergency declared by the President of the united States of Amarica or the Congress thereof, including any existing national mergency, the Gov meant &ball have theright to make exclusive or non-exclusive use a" have exclusive or non exclusive control and possession without charge of said airport land; and WIffiEAS, the City ofBangorProposes to we and develop a portion of said land d industrial development park without said restrictions, to Nit a 4,80],62] sq. ft. Parcel located on the southwesterly aide of Union Street and southeasterly side of Godfrey Boulevard in said Bangor and being more particularly described in the metes and bounds description attached hereto aM.mede a part hereof; and RDBRRAS, the paderal Aviation Administration, the federal agency duly authorised to act as the Government's representative in this matter, will release said astrictions provided the governing body of the public agency which owns the airport obligates itself to e the proceeds of the sale of the land exclusively for developing, improving, operating, or maintaining a public airport; NOW, TI®IEPORB, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Bangor City Council, as the governing body of the City of Bangor, aicipal corporation, enter of the parcel described above, and being more particularr ly described in the sates and bounds description attached hereto and made a part hereof, hereby agrees that in the event said parcel is sold the City of Bangor will use the proceeds of the sale exclusively for developing, improving, operating or maintaining a public airport.
