TEAT , the City Treasurer be and hereby-ieauthorised to
accept the attached deed from Financial Realty Trust of Bangor .
for a portion of the land laying within the Clear Zone at the
southeasterly end of Runway 15-33 at Bangor International Airport.
STATEMENT OF FACT: The Airport Master Plan has recommended that all
land lying within the Runway Clear Zone be acquired so as to prevent
development which would interfere with the Runway use.

The above described improvements would benefit a total of
49 lots in the Subdivision, the remainder of which front o
Kenduskeag Avenue and for which a separate sewer assessment is
being made. Consequently, the estimated assessment par lot is
$2,505.00.
It is recommended that the public improvements be constructed
as described above upon satisfactory completion of final construc-
tion drawings. It is further recommended that the assessments be
made against each of the 49 lots which would benefit, to be paid
as each lot is sold, but in any event, with the entire assessment
to be paid on all lots within.3 years from the date of the accep-
tance of the final co t coon 'ost report by The City Council.

As you know, we have applied for and received
preliminary approval for a proposed Su -division
on Kenduakeag Avenue. At this time we would
like to request that the City perform a cost
and assessment estimate for the construction
of the streets and storm and sanitary sewers
as proposed in the plans submitted for sub -di-
vision approval.

To the Municipal Officers:
Pursuant to a Petition received from Kenduskeag Associates
requesting a cost study for the construction of streets, storm
sewers and sanitary sewers in a proposed Subdivision on Kenduskeag
Avenue, a copy of said Petition attached, the following report
is submitted:
The proposed Subdivision, the preliminary Plans for which
were approved by the Planning Board on June 21, 1976, would be
located on the easterly side of Kenduskeag Avenue, and would
consist of 59 residential house lots. The required public
improvements would consist of the construction of 2 Residential
I Streets having a total length of 2,975 feet, attendant storm
sewers to remove surface water from the area, and necessary
sanitary sewers.
The proposed roadways would consist of a 30 foot wide
travel way with 1 sidewalk, located in a 60 foot right-of-way.
The roadways would consist of a 2 inch bituminous concrete
surface on a 6 inch gravel base and a 12 inch gravelsubbase.
Esplanades would be provided with 3 inches of topsoil and
seed, and the sidewalk will consist of 1 1J2 inches of bituminous
concrete on a 6 inch gravel base. The total estimated cost of
the roadway construction is $87,800.00, In accordance with
Chapter XII, Article 12, Sec. 1 of the Laws and Ordinances of
the City of Bangor, the City's share of the roadway construction
would be $6.75 per foot, or $20,080.00, and the Developerfs
share would be $67,720.00.
The storm sewer system would consist of 148 feet of 8 inch
pipe, 498 feet of 12 inch pipe, 442 feet of 15 inch pipe, 638
feet of 24inch pipe, and 897 feet of 30 inch pipe, 10 manholes,
and 11 catch basins. The total estimated cost of the storm _
sewer system is $70,600.00, of which the City would pay 50 %,
or $35,300.00, and the remaining $35,300.00 would be paid by
the Developer.
The sanitary sewer will consist of 2,704 feet of 8 inch
pipe and 11 manholes, at a total estimated cost of $47,300.00.
Of this amounYi.the City would pay 50 %, or $23,650.00, with
$23,650.80 to"be paid by the Developer.
The total estimated cost of the public-impvo0ements as
described above is broken down as follows:

TRUSTEES OF FINANCIAL REALTY TRUST under Declaration of
Trust dated November 7, 1975, recorded in Penobscot Registry Of
Deeds in Vol. 2607, Page 6, by the power conferred by said
Declaration of Trust and every other power, for consideration
Paid, grant to THE CITY OF BANGOR, abody corporate, located at
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, with QUITCLAIM COVENANT, the
following described real estate, to wit:
Beginning at the northerly corner of said premises, said
Point being 40.00 feet southwest from the centerline of Runway
15-33, measured at right angles to said centerline, and said
Point being 1,525 feet southeast from the southeasterly end of

mc.e or less, to a Point, said point being on the southwesterly
