Title, Order
Accepting a $2,000 Donation from the American Folk Festival to be used for the Commission on Cultural
Development Grant Program
This Order will accept and appropriate $2,000 from the American Folk Festival. Over the years, the
City of Bangor provided significant funding to support the American Folk Festival on the Bangor
Waterfront. Council Order 20-045 authorized the termination of an agreement with the American
Folk Festival and forgiveness for any debts owed to the City.
At this time, the festival has discharged all remaining debts owed. As part of its final dissolution, the
festival would like to direct the remaining cash assets of approximately $2,000 to the City of Bangor,
Commission on Cultural Development, to support arts and culture in Bangor.
