ORDERED,
TUT .WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized
the construction of a new public way between Aenduskeag Avenue
and Broadway to serve the proposed Bradford Commons development
located south of the Mason College property, and
WHEREAS .preliminary engineering studies have been completed
which have determined the most advantageous location of said
right-of-way,
NOW THEREFORE, be it
ORDERED,. That the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf
of the Municipal Officers, be and hereby is directed to lay out
by metes and bounds and establish a grade for said roadway along
the location generally described as follows:
Beginning at Aenduskeag Avenue on the center line of the
"Hessen College Access Road; thence in
a northeasterly
direction along the center line of theexisting Access
Road to Reason `College for a distance of approximately
1,600 feet to a point opposite the main entrance to the
Husson College campusi thence in a southeasterly direction'
on a projection of the Hessen College entrance road center
line, fox a distance of 800 feet, more r less, to the
northerly line of Bradford Conmwns; thence in an easterly
direction along the northerly line of Bradford Commons for
a distance of 900 feet; thence northeast for a distance of
approximately 900 feet to the southerly line of land owned
by Lloyd. Coffin; thence i easterly direction, generally
following the Coffin linen fora distance of 700 feet, more
r leas, to Broadway, intersecting Broadway at a point
approximately 500 feet north of School Street; and be it
further
ORDERED, that the City Engineer proceed to give written
notice of such intention of said Municipal Officers by posting
such Notices for seven (J) days in two (2) public places i
the City of Dagger and in the vicinity of said right-of-way;
and be it further
ORDERED, that the City Engineer make a written return of
said proceedings containing the bounds and admeasurements of
said right -of -wavy together with the damages allowed to any
person or persons for land taken, all in accordance with the
Laws of the State of Maine.
