The Planning Board considered the proposal, the intended Use (that of developing off-street parking) and the effect it would have both from a beneficial and from a detrimental atandpoint. After careful consideration, the Planning Board unanimously, recommeended agaiiwt approval of the change to Commercial 2 zone. The Board felt thecharge was not in the best interest of the that the developable area for parking wasrather limited, there was safety factor in that u wain require backing of all vehicles out of the lot across the sidewalk with problems of visibility, and that the commercial parking traffic would be moved onto the residential street.
