THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Tuning Map of the
_ City of Bangor .dated September 23, 1914, as amended, be hereby further
ended as follows:
By changing from Residential 5 Tune (R-5) A parcel of lana at the
southwest intersection of State and Birch Streets, and by changing an
adjoining parcel of land along Birch Street, presently zoned Residential
4 Zone (R-4), to Commercial Development Zone (C-2). Me above two
parcels being more particularly described as Lots #99 and 100 on Mamat
#55 of the Assessor's Map of the City of Bangor, and as specifically shown
on the attached map hereto and made part hereof.

Please be advised that the Planning Heard held�a Public Hearing on
January 19, 1976 to consider the above request for a -zone Change.
The planning Hoard gave careful consideration to the request, to the
proposed use of the, Property, and to the effect such a change could have
an the area.
After careful consideration of the Proposal, its effect on the
residential area, and possible alternatives, the Planning Heard voted to
recommend against the request to change from Commercial 1 Zone and
Residential 4 Zone, to Commercial 2 Zone. '

the Board tabled reconsideration until March 11 1976.

Please be advised Cast. the Planning Board et -their meeting of
Hatch 1, 1976 gave reconsideration to Council Order 94AD which was
referred back to the -Board for study.
On reconsideration of the Board's recommendation relative to
to the proposed zone change, the Planning Board reviewed the
proposal, the intended uses and the effect 6f such Changes.
After reconsideration, the Planning Board voted (4-1) to re-
commend approval of Commercial 2 monist; for the State Street
parcel and an additional sixty (60) feet Along Birch Street, with
the remeining sixty five (65) fent-Including the house to be
zoned to the Residential 5 cone., This is indicated on the map
attached.
