ORDERED.
THAT John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director, is hereby authorized
and directed to execute a municipal quitclaim deed, a copy of which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part hereof, releastm any
interest the City may havetocertain property located on Essex Street by
virtue of tax liens recorded in Volume 2100, Page 354; Volume 2129, page
852; and Volume 2158, page 443, penobacot Registry of Deeds. Said deed
shall be directed to hand investment Inc.
STATEMENT OF FACT: The taxes`eeured by the Bene in question have been
paid by a previous o of the property. However, the taxpayer did not
record the deed. given at that time. The purpose of the current deed is to
clear the record of any remaining interest the City any have by virtue of
the undischarged liens.

KNOW. ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,
THAT the City OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located at Bangor in the
County of Penobscot and State of Maine, in consideration of one dollar and
other valuable considerations paid by LAND INVEST[ffiNT,INC.. successor in
title to Linwood Jule Bowen
of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine the receipt whersof
-.iit does hereby acknowledge, does hereby remise, release, bargain, sell and:
mey, am forever quit -claim unto the said LAND INVESTMENT, INC., its.
;uc essors and assigns forever, all its right, title and interest
in and to the following described real estate situated at Bangor in the
i' county of Penobscot, State of Maine and more particularly described as
follows
Real estate located on the Rest Bide of Essex
Street in said Bangor and further described in
Volume 959, Page 398, Penobscot Registry of
Deeds.
Being the -s me premises acquired by said City
of Bangor (by John G. Field, Collector of Taxes)
-" for unpaid taxes assessed for the years 1966,
1967 and 1968 by virtue of tax liens recorded in
the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 2100,
Page 354; Volume 2129, Page 852; and Volume 2158,
Page 443, respectively.
Grantee's "dreams 612 Essex Street, Bangor, Maine, 04401.
The purpose of this deed is to convey any interest the Grantor may
have in the foregoing property by virtue of unpaid taxes for the tax years
1966, 1967 and 1968.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all the privileges and
appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said LAND INVESST@NT, INC., its
successors and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument
