THAT the provisions of Chapter I, Article 8 be amended by deletion of
the Article in dts.entirety and replacing it with, she. following:;
CHAPTER I •.
Adticle 8 - public proceedings
Sec. 1 beclaratiotl11 'of pub Lic Pslicy. The City Council finds and
declares that public

Sec. 3 Compliance with State Law. In furtherance of the legislative -
intent expressed above, all membets
of the City Council, Council standing cosmaittees, City boards
and cc®issions shall comply with the provision of Title 1,
Maim Eevised Statutes Annotated, 10401 at seq.
Sec. 3 Public Notice. It shall be the respaxib'lity AT the chair-

each of the various City Council committees, and the chairperson

Suggested amendments to Council Ordinance 19 M - Public Proceedings
(1] Add the following subsection 3.3, and redesignate the provisions
