The sewer installation has been completed, as follows: The installation consisted of 1,300 feet of S inch Class 2400 asbestos cement pipe and four manholes, extending from the existing sewer at the intersection of Blanchard Street and Knox Avenue, through the Bradford Commons development, to the north side of Hasson Avenue. The total actual cost of the sewer installation was $101791.14. Of this amount, the City would pay 50%, or $5,395.55, and the remaining 50% would be assessed against the property benefited. It has been determined that the Bradford Commons development, in the name of G & S Associates of Bangor, would benefit by 1,045 feet of the proposed instal- lation, and should be assessed for that portion of the sewer. Pro rating that length against the total assessment would result in an assessment against the Bradford Commons development of $4,337.21. It is recommended that the remaining $1,058.36 be assessed against Husaon College, which will also benefit by the new sewer. It is further recommended that the assessment against Husaon College be deferred until such time as sewer entry is requested if Husson so desires, with the deferred assessment to be increased by 50% to $1,587.54. It is recommended that the assessments be levied or deferred as noted above. A Plan showing the actual location of the Sewer is on file in the office of the City Engineer.
